About the Symbol / Logo of the Japanese Cancer Association

The Japanese Cancer Association newly created a symbol/ logo for the association in July 2004.

Both the English word gcancerh and the German word gKrebsh are derived from the Greek word gkarkinosh, which means gcrabh. The symbol/ logo was completed by arranging a motif of the Cancer star constellation and the claws of a crab on a logo comprising the letters JCA, the acronym of Japanese Cancer Association.
